Husbands & Partners – Let’s level your support as she navigates these changes.
Is your wife, girlfriend, or female partner’s behavior changing right before your eyes and affecting your relationship? Many relationships struggle through this transition. You may not be able to prevent hot flashes, but you can help the woman in your life get through this trying time while preserving and strengthening your relationship.
Menopause in the workplace: it’s time to start the conversation.
Women aged 40–60 are a growing part of today’s workforce, and unmanaged menopause symptoms can quietly impact productivity, retention, and leadership pipelines. Our menopause at work programs include training, policy support, and resources to create menopause‑inclusive workplaces.
How much is menopause costing your company in absenteeism, turnover, and lost productivity? Use our menopause workplace cost calculator to find out.
Using the cost calculator on the right, enter in the approximate number of employees at your company that are between 40-55 years old. You can do just female to start, then also run the numbers counting your male employees as well. There is a productivity cost associated for men as they are dealing with the effects of menopause in their relationships at home and at work.
Cost Per Employee
A study published by Harvard Medical School in partnership with other academic and professional organizations, established an annual cost per female employee in her menopausal years to be $2,116 USD*. The annualized costs for men who are bringing their personal struggles to work and or are having issues with managing and leading their female co-workers during this time are in the same cost range.
